It may be a little overpriced, but is definitely well built, and will last a long time. I really like the way the arm is counterbalanced for the weight of the laptop.

But 800 Customer Service was readily available & helped me out. There are so many adjustments that you have to make yourself. Like someone else said, I needed Velcro to secure the lap top ... The front hooks was too short for my Sony Vaio so I had to find tubes to lengthen it. I used Vaseline to make the joints to work smoother. There are many screw adjustments to make but they are all hidden. But after all that work of trial and error, I love it now. It does exactly what I needed. Don't buy it if you are afraid to figure all out on your own. Once all adjusted right, it's a 5 STAR product. I also think the price should be about 30% lower.
